The 2021 Palomar Airport Master Plan Update has been pulled from the County Board of Supervisors’ Agenda for Nov 03, 2021. There is no set date regarding when this will be returned for a vote.
The City of Carlsbad sent a letter to Supervisor Fletcher on Thursday, Oct. 28, 2021 asserting that the City of Carlsbad has some authority over the future use of Palomar Airport based upon C4FA’s legal victory over the 2018 Palomar Airport Master Plan. C4FA’s legal victory gives the City of Carlsbad this authority.

Stay tuned. We do know this will come back before the Board of Supervisors. We just don’t know when or in what form.
In the meantime, thank you to all who have volunteered to speak out at the County Board meeting against the expansion at Palomar Airport, and thank you to the over 2175 residents who have signed our petition to stop the expansion of Palomar Airport (and your over 850 comments). There is still time to sign.
As always, if you have any questions, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Thank you all again for your continued support.
